Cupping therapy, a traditional healing practice that originated in ancient Chinese, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern cultures, involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. While scientific research on cupping is still limited, some potential benefits reported by practitioners and individuals who have undergone cupping therapy include:
